In an environment of vineyards grid by canals (“Sorgues”), Côté Provence is very quiet in the countryside, but not isolated.
The historic city of Avignon and its Popes' Palace is just 9 miles away, the antic dealers' town of L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is 7 miles away and Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France, is 13 miles from Côté Provence.
Easy access from Avignon TGV train station and Marseille Airport.

Coming from the North : on the highway A7, take the exit n°23 “Avignon Nord”. At the big roundabout just after exiting the highway, first exit “Carpentras/Sorgues/Vedene” on D942 then first exit “Vedene” on the D6. Go straight ahead to Saint Saturnin les Avignon (~4,5 kms). Entering Saint Saturnin, at the crossing with traffic lights, go straight ahead direction “Jonquerettes / Caumont” (do not follow “Le Thor”). In Jonquerettes, first roundabout, third exit direction “La Garance”. Drive 2kms in the middle of the vineyards, Côte Provence is at the end of the way.
Coming from the South : on the highway A7, take the exit n°25 “Cavaillon”. Follow the D99 “APT / Isle sur la Sorgue” then “Caumont sur Durance / Le Thor”. When in Caumont sur Durance, do not follow Le Thor but take the D6, direction “Saint Saturnin les Avignon / Chateauneuf de Gadagne” (3 kms). Entering Jonquerettes, at the roundabout, first exit direction “La Garance”. Drive 2kms in the middle of the vineyards, Côte Provence is at the end of the way.
Coming from Le Thor : Go under the belfry, let the church on your left and cross the river Sorgue. Take first left towards Saint Saturnin les Avignon. At the roundabout, continue to follow Saint Saturnin les Avignon to be on the “Road of Saint Saturnin” D98. Turn left at the sign "ECOVEGETAL", then immediately right “Chemin du Trentin”. Follow the small road for about 1km, you’ll find on your left the famous “Chemin du Pont de Bois” : the reward is at the end of the way.
By train :
Avignon TGV station is only 30 minutes from Côté Provence. Paris is therefore only 3 hours from us, London only 6 hours (not taking into account the hours you’ll lose in the traffic jams to join the train station there !).
By plane :
The Marseille Provence airport is about 75kms from us (it takes 45 minutes drive from the airport to Côté Provence).
Whether arriving by train or by plane, we recommend to rent a car.
By road from the train station, take first the direction of “Avignon Centre” then “Morrières-les- Avignon”. Then follow the direction of Saint Saturnin les Avignon and Chateauneuf de Gadagne and see above "By car".
From the airport by car, follow the instructions By car / Coming from the south.
By bike :
We recommend you : or to put your bike on the train to the station of Saint Saturnin les Avignon or Le Thor, and then follow the instructions "By car" or to use the services of one of the specialized taxis from the "Provence à Vélo” network – see Activities.
