Because of the Coronavirus pandemic, we must take special hygiene measures for our and your safety. This measures may modify and affect the services we usualy propose.
The particular conditions below concern these modifications or additional rules and supplement or modify the General Conditions of your stay in the charming property Côté Provence, 544 Chemin du Pont de Bois, 84250 Le Thor – France.
These particular conditions may change depending on the evolution of the pandemic and the directives we regularly receive from the authorities.
Personal Data Protection :
It is mandatory (decree n°2015-1002 of August 18th, 2015 of the French Code of Tourism and Code of country entrance and stay for foreigners) for all accommodations including B&Bs to ask foreigners for their full coordinates for potential police requests. We will ask for an ID of all residents at arrival. Your datas have to be kept for a minimum of 6 months after your stay.
If the owner commits to not reveal to any third party informations of whatever nature, on whatever media, brought by the tenant on the occasion of the execution of his reservation, the owner can communicate this informations on request of the Police, Courts or French administrations, and particularly because of the pandemic to the French Ministry of Health.
Cleaning specific measures :
If cleanliness has always been one of our priority, the context obliges us to redouble our efforts.
For the B&B rooms, we will observe a "block" day between each departure and each arrival (There will be no arrival on the same day a room is released in the morning). This will give us the time for an intensive cleaning of the rooms. We will ask our guests to collect the dirty laundry and to leave it in one place when leaving the room.
For the Guest Houses, it is written in the contract that the Guests when checking out will return us the cottages «in a good state of cleanliness». We will now ask you to do a real cleaning at the end of your stay ; all necessary equipments will be made available. We’ll then do a second cleaning.
Common areas, door handles, stair ramps, etc. will be regularly disinfected.
Signs reminding of the barrier gestures to be respected are posted in the House.
We will offer you the possibility to wash your hands before entering the house.
For our B&B guests, breakfast will be served outdoors on separate (of at least 1.5m) individual tables. We will wear masks and gloves to ensure service.
We do not plan to offer Dinner (« Table d'hôtes ») in the evening.
Under conditions, we plan to leave the summer kitchen open (see below).
Use of premises :
Swimming Pool Area
You will have to take off your shoes to access the swimming pool area. We will ask you to use your towel to manipulate the door handles. The gates will be regularly disinfected.
Sunbrella and relaxing chairs corners will be installed at least 3 meters one from another. Please do not move the sunbrellas and the teak sunbeds.
You are asked to come with your own swimming pool towels.
Access to the Wellness area will be on reservation, for 4 people from the same family maximum.
Outdoor playground and games
We are lucky to enjoy a vast property on which we have arranged multiple far apart relaxation areas, that you can enjoy at your ease. But we ask you to avoid moving garden furnitures.
For outdoor games, we ask you as much as possible to plan to come with your equipment as badminton rackets, ping pong rackets, and petanque balls ; which you will bring back to your rooms after use. We can occasionally lend equipment , but it will no longer be available in self-service.
At this stage, we plan to leave the summer kitchen open to our B&B guests.
But for your own safety, we ask you for very special care before, during and after use:
- It is mandatory to wash your hands with soap before, during and after use
- The dishes used should be washed immediately with water and dish soap. And systematically and immediately wiped and stored. The work surface should be cleaned with a soap sponge.
- Tables and chairs used in the patio will need to be cleaned with soap sponge as well.
- We will provide a large fridge that will be compartmentalized per room to avoid mixing food so that it should not be handle by others.
The kitchen will also be cleaned regularly by us.
The customer undertakes not to go to Côté Provence if he has COVID-19 typical symptoms. Note that your body temperature can be tested when checking in.
The customer agrees not to go to Côté Provence if he has been tested positive and must follow a period of quarantine or isolation.
The customer agrees to not exercise any legal action against Côté Provence in case of Covid-19 contamination detected during or after his stay at Côté Provence.
Booking and Cancellation Policy :
Booking is always possible via our website or through OTA’s. In both cases we have exceptionally reduced the cancellation conditions.
Cancellation by the customer :
For Direct Booking (via our Website www.coteprovence.com ) :
Any cancellation must be notified by e-mail with an acknowledgment of receipt sent to the owner.
Cancellation before the beginning of the stay: if the cancellation intervenes more than 60 30 days before the beginning of the stay, the amount of the deposit is entirely transfered back to the customer.
If the cancellation intervenes between 30 15 and 60 30 days before the beginning of the stay, the owner is entitled to keep the deposit.
If the cancellation intervenes less than 30 15 days before the beginning of the stay, the amount of the deposit remains acquired to the owner who reserves him the right to demand the balance of the price of the accommodation to the customer (in case the owner is not able to re-rent the accommodation because of too short notice (eg no show)).
In case of shortened stay, the costs corresponding to the total accommodation remains entirely acquired to the owner.
For Booking via an OTA (Booking or AirBnB) : please refer to the specific conditions set with the corresponding OTA for the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cancellation by the owner :
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic (on public administration request, in case of virus infection of one of the clients or staff requiring quarantine, ….) the owner may be required at any time to reduce the accommodation capacity of the establishment, or even to shut it down for health reasons. The owner can cancel the client’s future stay, and will inform him by e-mail as soon as possible. The customer will be refunded immediately of the sums already paid but will not be able to claim any damages and interests.
In the event that the owner should terminate a Guest stay to shutdown the establishment, the Guest will be reimbursed in proportion to the remaining time to stay. The customer may not claim any damages or interests.
Under no circumstances is the owner required to find another accomodation to the Guests.
All payments have to be made in euros (€).
Payments will preferably be made by Credit Card (Visa / Mastercard / Maestro), by bank transfer (SWIFT), or by using a secured online payment systems (Stripe or Paypal).
For Direct Booking, the balance of the rental is to be paid on the day of arrival.
Check In :The customer arrives the first day of stay in between 16h and 19h (4pm and 7pm). The owner will contact you before arrival to set a meeting time, to avoid concurrent arrivals. Arrivals before 16h00 / 4pm are not possible (unless the customer has previously and expressly agreed to another schedule with the owner).
Check Out :B&B rooms must be vacated by 10:30am . Cottages must be vacated by 10:30am 09 :30am.
